Stop Smart City 'Big Brother' Control
Take back your Democracy!
SILENCE IS CONSENT!
Did you know..
Local councils have started to implement S.M.A.R.T City technology.
What are S.M.A.R.T Cities and how Smart are they?
How Smart are Smart Cities? (12 min)
Smart cities are meant to improve the lives of city dwellers. But these systems require huge amounts of data to work. How is this data collected? And what are the potential pitfalls?

Your S.M.A.R.T phone, as well as products that you can operate using an app are also S.M.A.R.T devices.
Do you have any S.M.A.R.T devices around your home?
S.M.A.R.T is an acronym for
Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology.
S.M.A.R.T devices are able to independently save, analyse information and send it off to other devices like the Cloud (online computer) where Government and companies can access and use the data.
You get no privacy and your council rates pay for it
Mass leafleting in Oxford against 15-minute cities (12:42)
More than 400 people from around the UK attended a mass leafleting event in Oxford over the weekend. The leaflets contained information about the negative consequences of 15-minute cities (SMART Cities) and warned of possible restrictions on freedom posed by the new traffic filtering system.

Say NO to S.M.A.R.T City technology
Existing local council S.M.A.R.T city technology is able to track your phone, and in some areas councils have already implemented facial recognition cameras.
Where does the S.M.A.R.T Cities idea come from?
Let's compare the following '17 Goals' as defined by;
(Open the PDF, scroll down to page 21 to see 'The Global Goals')
The research leads to some alarming findings
S.M.A.R.T Cities lead the way to a vast system of monitoring by companies and Governments via "internet of things (IoT), mobile solutions, big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain" as defined by the World Economic Forum.
As a consequence this could lead to a digital surveillance grid which will track and monitor every aspect of your life 24/7. S.M.A.R.T infrastructure includes technologies such as S.M.A.R.T Street lights and poles, sensors, and facial recognition surveillance cameras.
Tying all of this into the Government issued Digital Identity and Digital Currency, the future looks very concerning for all Australians.
Have you heard of China's Social Credit System?
A tool used to force Chinese citizens into obedience to the State.
A Look Inside China’s Social Credit System (8:06)
"This is real - life "Big Brother is watching you". It basically takes away your right to privacy, your reputation, and way of living. Basically if you don't behave the way we want or think the way we want, your social credit score goes down. This is utterly terrifying and if people don't stand up it will come here." - commenter on youtube
Salisbury council is only the beginning.
We need as many people to get involved as the S.M.A.R.T City agenda rollout is planned for all 68 South Australian councils and so you don’t have to live in the Salisbury area to get involved now.
Ways to help
Let's not be divided and conquered.
Let's come together and support the local residents of Salisbury.
** UPDATE: Due to a power outage Monday's meeting was re adjourned for Tuesday 31st
We need to show up in numbers Tuesday 31st January at the next Salisbury council meeting
Come along with a whole bunch of friends to support local residents inside the council chambers and around the entrance to the council, while the rest of us will be on the footpath for motorists to see.
There will only be room for a few local residents INSIDE the Salisbury Council chambers. Arrive early if you want to speak.
Meet at
5:30pm Salisbury Hub, corner of John Street and
34 Church Street, Salisbury
We need a massive presence OUTSIDE by 5:30pm, so the Mayor, Councillors and the CEO of the Salisbury Council understand that they need to cease any further action immediately.
